Examples:
A Global

care of all formalities like domestic transport, customs clearance etc, and
remains responsible for the goods until the goods reached their Customer’s
premises. This could be arranged through a domestic forwarding company, or in
co-operation with a sales agent in the country of the Customer.
In both
cases however, the service most likely could be insufficient, as a forwarder
does in general not have to take care of other than logistical issues, and for a
sales agent it might be difficult to fulfill all Exporter’s contractual
obligations in case the agent does not have the necessary know-how, or adequate
labour at his disposal for these activities.
An other
point to consider is that nowadays the traditional role of a sales agent is
fading more and more because virtually anyone with access to the global network
can buy or sell nearly anything from or to almost anyone, anytime, anywhere in
the world. A natural and cost saving development, which might cause
supply-chain gaps on the other hand. To overcome such a supply-chain gap, to
guarantee a safe and sound contract fulfillment, and in order to extend the
service level, an Exporter could make use of the support of a service company
like AMPLUSION, because AMPLUSION takes care about all relevant aspects in the
supply chain.
